The General Education Center (GEC), marked a significant milestone as its research study, “Construct Clarification, Scale Development, and Validation of the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) General Education (GE) Objectives,” was presented by Junior Office Associate Stephany Louise Marquez on July 30, 2025 at the the International Postgraduate Roundtable and Research Forum cum Summer School 2025 (IPRRFSS), organized by The Graduate School of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK).

Bringing together the General Education (GE) faculty members, administrators, and academic leaders from across the constituent universities of the University of the Philippines (UP), the UP System GE Conference 2026, themed “Pagtanaw sa KaaGE: Through the Years,” was held on June 4–5, 2026, at the Institute of Biology, UP Diliman (UPD).
